The second-hand marketplace Users Express Displeasure Regarding Size Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has altered its measurement guidelines for women's and children's garments but did not contact all shoppers about the modification.

Countless users and merchants are posting online claiming that product pages now present a different size category versus the original listing due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the new system was more in line with comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Size Classification Changes
Before the change, the measurements included one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter and a range for example S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L was previously a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.

Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Stephanie Gallen, located in Scotland, explained products she uploaded featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as size 20–22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they may become frustrated," she explained.
Necessary Adjustments
Another shopper, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial following partial earnings loss," she said.
Service Background
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance where an unanticipated change within the service has received backlash: last year, the platform withdrew an update concerning shipment methods due to shopper criticism.
